At Bash, we treasure the relationships we make between clients, teammates, learners and other local businesses. These relationships have always been our mission- to create a sanctuary of positivity in our studio where guests feel at home and technicians can blossom. What emerges is more than a fresh set of brows or lashes; it’s friendship and community.
During the coronavirus lockdown we’ve been reminded not to take these things for granted. The sincere connections- the laughs, the secrets, the tears and the anticipation of a client’s return so we can finish the story we started two weeks earlier. Put simply, we miss you!
Our clients are the lifeblood of our business. We do this for you and we can’t wait to open our doors again to you. As everyone adapts to the ‘new normal’, we hope that you are safe, well and enjoying time with your family and away from life’s usual distractions. We’re going to try and focus our spare time away from social media and instead spend it building upon exciting things like new course content, new product lines and our new website. We’ll be back up and running as soon as we can, so keep your eye on our Instagram story for updates on opening times and booking advice. We truly apricate the support and every like, share or follow.
To our learners: If you had just passed your qualification in the months before lock-down don’t be disheartened. You have something most technicians wished for in those early months… time! Use your mannequin head as much as possible to keep your skills and hand positions fresh in your mind. Remember that your muscles need to build up in your hands and this could be an ideal time to get them ready for your first sets. Use your time to research your craft. Watch videos, read about glue, read blogs and use this time to connect with other learners and start-ups. There’s no harm in setting up a Business account on IG and just uploading a few quotes or screenshots for now.
If you’re planning a course with us in the future use this time to gather as much information as possible on your chosen trade. Get ahead of the class with Youtube how-to videos, product research and learn the difference between a C and a D curl. If you’ve already booked your course, you’re on a waiting list or we’re holding your deposit then send us an email and we’ll get your manual to you in advance. Most importantly, get excited! Once this is over you’re going to be ready to dive head first into your new business venture.
